A sobbing mother implored President Rodrigo Duterte to help her daughter, Jennifer Dalquez who’s facing the death row in Dubai.

“Mr.

Jennifer, a native of Labangal, General Santos, was arrested on December 12, 2014 for killing an Arab national after the latter allegedly tried to rape and threatened to kill her on December 8, 2014.

Her father also expressed his frustration at how Dubai natives mistreat OFWs like her daughter. “Masama talaga ang kalooban ko. Walang kasalanan ang anak ko. Self-defense lang ‘yung ginawa niya.”

Meanwhile, the family has already sought the help of Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) at Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA).

Various groups have also pledged their support through a social post that went viral.
