Patrick Hughes Confirmed to Direct The Expendables 3
Aside from Sylvester Stallone, who is returning as Barney Ross, no other actor has been confirmed for the sequel. Wesley Snipes and Jackie Chan have been mentioned as possible new additions, but nothing is set in stone yet. Dolph Lundgren revealed in January that production may begin as early as this fall.
Earlier this month, Sylvester Stallone revealed that he wanted Mel Gibson to direct, but it seems a deal couldn't be made.
Patrick Hughes made his feature directorial debut with the Australian thriller Red Hill, which starred Ryan Kwanten (True Blood).
The Expendables 3 is in development and stars Nicolas Cage, Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham. The film is directed by Patrick Hughes.
