Fantastic Four Reboot Won't Revolve Around Teenagers Says Screenwriter Jeremy Slater

Earlier today, an alleged story line for 20th Century Fox's Fantastic Four reboot surfaced, which offers a significantly altered origin story for Mr. Fantastic and The Thing.

"Two friends (who end up being Mr. Fantastic and The Thing), starts with them being really young. An event happens at 16 that changes them, instead of being superheroes, they are basically owned by the government and used as weapons."

No official story details have been released as of yet. Josh Trank (Chronicle) is directing, with Seth Grahame-Smith signing on in February to provide a re-write of Jeremy Slater's script. No production schedule has been released at this time.
Fantastic Four comes to theaters March 6th, 2015. The film is directed by Josh Trank.
