Did X-Men: Days of Future Past Cast Lady Gaga as Dazzler?
Director Bryan Singer took to his Twitter account today to announce that Lady Gaga has joined the cast of X-Men: Days of Future Past as Dazzler. Although he has announced new cast members several times in the past, since today is April Fool's Day, it has not been revealed if this is a joke or not yet. Dazzler first debuted in a 1980 issue of Uncanny X-Men, a mutant singer who has the unusual power of turning sound vibrations into light and energy beams. The character was created by a committee of Marvel staff writers and illustrators, most notably Tom DeFalco and John Romita Jr.. We'll keep you posted as to whether or not this is a bona fide casting announcement, or just another April Fool's Day joke.
